Big Ten football was rather boring in Week 4 but Wisconsin’s big win over Michigan provided clarity on the top team in the conference.

Not a whole lot was going on in the Big Ten during Week 4, and the action that we did see was not all that entertaining until late. We had three conference match ups, with two of which that were both decided by 21 points, while the other conference game saw Nebraska escape Illinois with a four-point win.

In the Big Ten’s non conference games, they went 2-1. Indiana took care of UConn, Ohio State posted a high-scoring beatdown on Miami (OH) and Rutgers continued its losing ways, getting KO’d by Boston College.

This upcoming week for the conference has all but one Big Ten team in action as we see six conference match ups and one conference match up. While many of these games could be a blowout, we could still see some gems, starting with Friday night’s match up of Penn State and Maryland.

It’s been a weird season thus far for the Big Ten and things are just getting started. So before we get started with Week 5, check out our updated power rankings.
