Ohio State football rolls into Nebraska looking to stay undefeated in Lincoln. Here’s all you need to know for the Big Ten matchup for Saturday.

Ohio State football has been putting the nation on notice, scoring 53 points a game in their first four games to start the season.

Sophomore quarterback transfer from Georgia Justin Fields has been nothing short of impressive with 19 total touchdowns in just four games. The most impressive part of Fields game so far has been his no turnovers, protecting the ball for the Buckeyes.

Ohio State has started the season 4-0 but has not had a very tough schedule thus far. They will be tested heavily on the road in a crazy Nebraska environment. It will be the first game in Justin Fields career that he is really tested on the road.

Nebraska has started the season 3-1 and their standout sophomore quarterback Adrian Martinez has led the team with 1,000 passing yards and only two interceptions on the year. This is a much different Martinez that we have seen in the past and should cause a ton of trouble for the Buckeyes.

Keys to Victory

Playing in Lincoln is no easy task, especially with an improved quarterback Adrian Martinez that has impressed in his sophomore campaign. The Cornhuskers will have to control the clock and limit the Buckeyes opportunities to get Fields limited chances to hurt them at home. Nebraska has been really strong against the run and has been playing well on the defensive front, look for them to use this at home to disrupt the Buckeye season.

The sold-out crowd in Lincoln will give the Cornhuskers a chance in a tough environment. Playing at home will be worth at least one touchdown to Nebraska, who has only dropped one game that was in overtime in Boulder playing the Buffs. They will need to force a couple of turnovers to change momentum and get this crowd involved, nonetheless, it will be really tough to stop the red hot Buckeye squad.

Prediction

The Ohio State offense has been record-setting good this year. Justin Fields has looked so comfortable in his first four games after transferring from Georgia. This was one question that everyone had coming into the year how quickly he could get to know the playbook. With him playing at the level he is playing, not even the Nebraska crowd and Adrian Martinez are looking like they could stop the Buckeyes.

If Nebraska can get a couple of touchdowns early and have the crowd in it the whole game, they might have a shot. With the 17 point spread in favor of the Buckeye’s nobody is thinking this game will be really close. I expect the Buckeye’s to roll as well.

Final Score: Ohio State 42, Nebraska 27
