After an extremely disappointing loss to Auburn, Texas A&M football must beat Arkansas and do so convincingly. What are the keys to victory?

The Aggies lacked a lot of heart and effort until the end of the fourth quarter against Auburn and as a result, fans are extremely upset.

There is blame coming from every direction, most of it directed at Kellen Mond and Jimbo Fisher. Whether that is well-founded criticism and blame remains to be seen, but that will be put to the test this week in a hurry.

What are the keys to victory against Arkansas at AT&T Stadium?

3. The offensive line has to play better.

I really don’t care how good or not good the Razorbacks have been on the defensive side of the ball. I don’t care that the Razorback offense hasn’t been good at all and that this won’t become a game of “try to keep up with us and our offense.” I don’t care that Nick Starkel threw five interceptions last week and that the Razorbacks couldn’t keep up with San Jose State. None of that matters now, especially in terms of what I am about to say.

The Aggie offensive line has to be better than it was in the past few games. They have to give Kellen Mond time to throw the ball because apparently he’s not allowed to run much anymore according to Jimbo Fisher. They have to make those blocks for the Aggies to be able to establish the run game. Simply put, they have to be better. That isn’t just a key to this game, it’s a key to the rest of the season.
