USC football is flying high after their big win over Utah and there’s reason to believe that another upset may be in the cards against Washington.

USC and Washington will meet for the 85th time in what has been a rich history between these two Pac-12 programs. The Trojans currently boast a 51-29-4 series lead, but the past is of little concern as these two teams undoubtedly have their sights set on the Pac-12 conference championship.

Both USC and Washington enter this week with 3-1 records, losing early to the likes of BYU and California, respectively. Both of these losses came in heartbreaking fashion, with the Trojans losing on an overtime interception and Washington falling just one point short at home.

USC made some noise in their win over Utah, enough to propel them into the top 25. However, Washington has been just as dominant coming off back to back convincing wins over Hawai’i and BYU. The Huskies are 10.5 favorites in this one, but USC will surely have something to say about that as they roll into Washington this weekend.

Here’s why the Trojans will be able to pull off a win.
