College GameDay is headed to Lincoln on Saturday morning as Nebraska hosts Ohio State in a major Week 5 battle for Big Ten bragging rights.
Can you believe we are entering the final week of September? It seems like just yesterday we were kicking off the 2019 season with a Week 0 matchup between Florida and Miami.
Now we’re in the midst of conference action, for most teams, and Week 5 of College GameDay will feature arguably the most intriguing matchup in the nation: Nebraska vs. Ohio State.
The Buckeyes come in red-hot behind Georgia-transfer quarterback Justin Fields and the resurgence of JK Dobbins. They don’t even look beatable so far this season, but that could all change on the road as it seems to every season for the Buckeyes (just ask Purdue last year and Iowa the season prior).
On the other hand, Nebraska has had an up-and-down start to the year but a road loss against Colorado was probably the most disappointing development in the opening month for second-year coach Scott Frost. A win over Ohio State would surely put that in the rearview mirror, though.
Can the Buckeyes continue to steamroll through opponents or will the Cornhuskers find a way to take down Ohio State in front of a sellout crowd?
