2. Chuba Hubbard is a freak

Spencer Sanders didn’t have his best game under center for the Cowboys of Oklahoma State, but it didn’t much matter as Chuba Hubbard stepped up and rushed for nearly 300 yards in the win.

The freshman quarterback was just 16-for-25 with 153 yards and two interceptions along with one touchdown but he wasn’t as effective as usual. He relied heavily on his star running back who was nearly unstoppable all night long.

Kansas State couldn’t seem to bring him down, rushing for an incredible 296 yards and a touchdown on 25 carries. He now has three 200-yard games on the season and that’s an absolutely insane number given the fact that it’s not that easy to rush effectively against decent defenses. Some teams can’t even approach 200 yards in a game and Hubbard has done it three times.

Hubbard has over 900 rushing yards and 10 touchdowns on the season and the Cowboys aren’t even halfway through the year. This kid is a freak.
