The 2020 NFL Draft is still months away, but NFL teams are already planning for the franchise-altering event. This is our 2020 NFL Mock Draft for Week 6.

College football hasn’t presented many big surprises this season, while the NFL on the other hand has had plenty. Nick Saban and Alabama are still dominating. Clemson’s undefeated, even though quarterback Trevor Lawrence continues to battle through phases of a sophomore slump. And Georgia, after beating Notre Dame in Athens, looks to be the biggest hurdle for the Crimson Tide yet again.

The Indianapolis Colts’ Andrew Luck retired prior to the start of the NFL regular season, the Pittsburgh Steelers lost signal-caller Ben Roethlisberger to an injury, and the Miami Dolphins are, well, they’re the best team in college football. Maybe. And while things on the field continue to be unpredictable in the NFL, certain teams are exchanging first round picks for players to help them win now.

The Dolphins shipped their first round pick from 2018, Alabama safety Minkah Fitzpatrick, to the Steelers for Pittsburgh’s 2020 first round pick — which is expected to land in the top 10. They also added Houston’s first rounder when they sent Laremy Tunsil and Kenny Stills to the Texans.

Plenty of teams will be searching for a quarterback, too, as the first round is where team’s believe they’ll find their quarterback of the future. But there are some special defensive talents that smart franchises simply won’t be able to pass up.

The order of our 2020 NFL Mock Draft is the reverse of ESPN’s Football Power Index, but the final order will ultimately change as the season progresses and the teams play more games. Until then, this order will be just fine. Ready to Mock & Roll?
