The Skinny
The Jimbo-wl. Florida State has spent much of the last few weeks out of the field, but Willie Taggart’s team seems to be solving its late-game issues and they look like a much-improved team from a year ago. After a nice win over NC State, suddenly seven or eight wins for the Seminoles looks possible.
More was hoped for out of Texas A&M this season, and while I’m willing to overlook the close win over a bad Arkansas team because weird things tend to happen when those two get together, the Aggies haven’t looked as good as expected. Combine that with a brutal schedule the rest of the season, and a 7-5 season looks likely.
If Arizona State and Pitt meet in bowl season, Todd Graham should have to do the pre-game coin toss.
