The Alabama football season has been going well through the month of September. What can we expect in October from the Tide?
Alabama football has started off the season looking like the best team in the nation. Thanks to a high-powered offense, the Tide have been absolutely rolling. They have the talent to keep this up, but we still have two months of the regular season left.
The defense for the Tide hasn’t lived up to par so far. They’re still an above-average defense, but they are nothing like what the Tide are used to having. With four freshmen starters currently in the front seven, depth and experience have been major concerns. There have also been too many injuries, keeping the Tide from truly being 100 percent.
Although the Tide have looked really good so far in the season, they haven’t truly been tested yet. Their three toughest opponents in the regular season are all in front of them. If they win those games, they would also likely have to play either Georgia or Florida. Needless to say, all of these opponents are tougher than Duke or South Carolina.
As the season progresses, we will learn more and more about the Crimson Tide. I’m not sure what to think about the entire season, but here are a few bold predictions for the upcoming month. They don’t have any incredibly tough opponents, but we will still learn a lot over the next month.
Some of these predictions will certainly be bolder than others. Let’s start off with the most important man on Alabama’s team. That is of course the Tide’s Heisman frontrunner, team captain, and starting quarterback Tua Tagovailoa.
