October is finally here for Boise State football as the Broncos try and stay perfect on the season. What do the Broncos have to look forward to this month?

Boise State Football has started out their season a perfect 4-0 on the season and is the highest-ranked Group of Five team in the country. Ranked No. 16 in all national polls, the Broncos have the edge against UCF and SMU who have both impressed thus far. UCF is the only team in this group of three teams that has a loss so far at the hands of Pitt.

True freshman quarterback Hank Bachmeier and the Broncos have started the season on fire, beating Florida State on the road and winning three games at home to begin their campaign. Before the 2019 season, there were a ton of question marks in key positions.

With former quarterback Brett Rypien leaving for the NFL alongside Alexander Mattison who accounted for over 1,000 rushing yards just last year, the Broncos had big shoes to fill.

It is now safe to say that Boise State has found its stride with a new regime. Not only with Hank Bachmeier leading the offense with over 1,190 yards passing but adding six touchdowns through the air. The Broncos have been pretty dang good on the ground as well, rushing for six touchdowns in just four games, and having eclipsed 600 yards with a committee of backs. One of these backs includes true freshman George Holani who has an impressive 4.7 yards a carry.

Boise State will get into the thick of the Mountain West schedule starting on Friday, October 5th, going to Las Vegas to take on UNLV. The Broncos also have two of the tougher games on their schedule as well, taking on Hawaii and going to Provo to take on BYU which will be a true test of this young Bronco team.

Here are five bold predictions for Boise State in October.
