Boise State, UCF and SMU are all ranked inside of the top 25 in college football. Who is the next to fall in the Group of Five in Week 6?

The College Football world is heating up as we get into Week 6, in the thick of conference races and undefeated seasons looking for New Year’s Six bowl births.

The top-ranked Group of Five teams going into October is Boise State who is sitting at No. 16 in the polls ahead of No. 18 UCF and No. 24 SMU. The Mustangs are a team to look out for here down the stretch as they have been on fire with transfer quarterback Shane Buechele.

One of the three teams listed has a tough road game this week, going down on a Friday night that could get really strange. That team is UCF, going to Cincinnati to take on the Bearcats and try and survive this AAC matchup. The other two have games in which they should not face much opposition in UNLV for the Boise State Broncos and Tulsa for SMU. A lot of things can happen from week to week, but those games should be especially easy for two teams that are rolling.

The Group of Five teams also have some big games this weekend against Power Five opponents. LSU is going into Logan, Utah to take on Utah State. This game would not be considered an upset as LSU is favored by over 28 points so far, but could possibly be huge for the Aggies.

So who is on upset alert? Who has games this weekend that is making people especially nervous for their NY6 bowl births or even just great bowls that they might be able to make? We take a look at three teams who could stumble in Week 6.
