Boise State Football: 3 bold predictions vs. UNLV in Week 6
Boise State football heads to UNLV to take on the Rebels in Last Vegas. Here are three predictions for Saturday’s Mountain West matchup.
Boise State goes into Las Vegas undefeated and looking to continue on as the top Group of Five team in the country sitting at No. 16 in the polls.
Coming off of a bye week, the Broncos are getting more and more healthy on both sides of the ball getting back DeAndre Peirce and John Ojukwu on Saturday. Both have been hampered by injuries thus far in 2019 and look to give the Broncos a much-needed boost.
UNLV comes back home after losing to Wyoming last week and dropping to 1-3 on the season and 0-1 in the Mountain West. Coming off of three straight losses, the Rebels are trying to get back on track, adjusting anything they can on defense to improve. Averaging 37 points given up a game isn’t going to win many games and UNLV has definitely felt those struggles upfront.
UNLV’s struggles haven’t just been on the defensive side of the ball either, turnovers have plagued the Rebels. Turnovers leading to fewer possessions on the season have left the Rebels only averaging 376 yards a game with most of those coming from the running game and stand out running back Charles Williams.
Make no bones about it, the Broncos are going into Vegas looking for a massive win over the Rebels where they put up a ton of points. Freshman quarterback Hank Bachmeier should be unleashed on Saturday after a bye week with tons of prep. We should see the Broncos really turn it on in Vegas. Here are three bold predictions for the game on Saturday.
