3. Hank Bachmeier goes wild

Hank Bachmeier has been one of the best surprises for a Boise State team that was looking to fill the shoes of former quarterback Brett Rypien. He has filled those shoes and more for just being a true freshman. Throwing for over 1,200 yards and six touchdowns in his first four games, with the hardest part of the schedule past the Broncos, Bachmeier is really looking to break out in this game against UNLV.

Boise State has been a really balanced team through the first four games, this might not be the case in Vegas. We should see Bachmeier get a ton more time to throw the ball than he has had in the past, and really be able to get receivers open downfield.

The burners on the outside in John Hightower and CT Thomas should get a ton of action against a really poor secondary for UNLV. This could be over before halftime and Bachmeier is going to be one of the main reasons for this. Look for Bachmeier to throw the ball all over the yard and create huge plays.
