Boise State football takes its undefeated start on the road vs. UNLV. What will it have to do to get past the Rebels in Last Vegas?

Boise State has started the season 4-0 and comes into the month of October has the highest-ranked Group of Five team in the country. After the slip up from UCF on the road against Pitt, the Broncos took over the top spot in hopes to make their New Years Six Bowl since 2014. The Broncos will have to get past a scuffling UNLV team on Saturday to keep those dreams alive.

UNLV comes into the matchup as 23.5 point underdogs and looking to snap their three-game losing streak. Their lone bright spot has been stand out running back Charles Williams who has rushed for almost 500 yards in just four games and has accounted for six touchdowns on the season. UNLV has started the season 1-3 and allowed over 37 points a game to start the season off.

The Broncos are coming off of a bye week and are getting healthier by the week. Junior safety Deandre Pierce is looking to get back on the field on Saturday after missing the first four games of the year and much of last season as well. The addition of Pierce would be huge for the Broncos after losing their leading tackler Zeke Noa to a season-ending ACL injury.

After the bye week, Boise State should be as prepared as anyone and looking to put some style points on the board to keep their top spot in the Group of Five. The Broncos can’t get caught looking past the Rebels as they have Hawaii next week who has been off to a wicked hot start so far in 2019.

What must the Broncos do in Vegas to pull out a big win?
