3. Baylor at Kansas State

While this may be an easy game to look over if you are glancing through the schedule, this is a big one for all Big 12 fans.

Baylor is coming off of a big win at home against Iowa State where it blew a 20-0 lead only to come back and win the game 23-21. Kansas State is coming off of a tough to loss to Oklahoma State by a score of 26-13. Kansas State was actually ranked in the top 25 heading into that game.

Baylor is 4-0 and has hopes of causing some chaos in the Big 12. While many people don’t think the Bears have a shot at winning the conference, they are one of the top few teams in the Big 12 as they showed the ability to contend with a win over Iowa State. They are good enough to knock off anyone in the conference, with the exception of Oklahoma and Texas.

Kansas State boasts a 3-1 record with their most impressive win coming a few weeks back on the road against Mississippi State. The Bulldogs were favored in that game, but Kansas State showed up and out-played them to get the win.

Kansas State is favored in this game by 1.5 points as of now and this game should come down to the wire against two good Big 12 teams that have goals of upsetting the “big dogs” in conference.

Recapping reasons to watch

  • Kansas State is favored by 1.5 points
