2. Iowa proves its ranking

Let’s face it, Iowa has not played anyone that is of note this year and no one really knows if the Hawkeye’s are for real. Giving up only eight points a game and less than 80 yards on the ground a game though says a ton for a veteran defense that is hungry for a Big Ten title. Iowa is still three-point underdogs on the road and the public has Michigan as a heavy play this week.

With most of the country wondering if Iowa really is that good, or they have just played a bunch of struggling teams, Iowa should have a chip on their shoulder to prove everyone wrong on Saturday.

Senior quarterback Nate Stanley has yet to throw an interception on the year and is one of the most efficient quarterbacks in the country with a 64 percent completion rate. This is an offense that also runs a pro-style offense and doesn’t have many throws. You take this with their balanced run game, Iowa should be able to play with the Michigan team all day long.
