Washington football goes to Stanford this Saturday for a Pac-12 After Dark special. Can the Huskies avoid a letdown against the Cardinal?

Washington Football goes into Stanford Stadium 4-1 and hoping to continue their PAC-12 run with a win against the Cardinal. Chris Peterson and the Huskies have started the season off hot and are ranked No. 15 in the AP poll, trying to crack the college football playoff again for the second time in three years.

Stanford has had a less than ideal start to their season, losing to both USC and UCF on the road in games that they would rather forget. The Cardinal did, however, win a thriller last week at Oregon State where they got out with the win on a last-second field goal after blowing a 14-point lead in the fourth quarter.

Stanford has struggled on offense only scoring 20 points a game through five games, they will have to figure out how to move the ball on a great defensive backfield that has only allowed 200 yards a game through the air.

Washington is a 14.5-point favorite on the road in California, this game has a weird feeling to it as Stanford is still really strong in a couple of areas like their defensive front. Pac-12 After Dark always gives us something to look forward to on Saturday night, this should be no different.

Here are three keys for the Huskies to win on Saturday night.
