Florida Football: 3 keys to victory over Auburn in Week 6

2. Protect Kyle Trask in the pocket
If you have gotten the impression that I think the quarterback play of each team will be the difference, you’re on to something. With both teams having two of the top defensive lines in the country, keeping these quarterbacks upright and making plays is essential.
Auburn’s defensive line is regarded as 2018 Clemson level good, and they have the names and prospects to prove it. Auburn has five defensive linemen that will probably be significant NFL contributors, led by Derrick Brown, and they just spent last week bottling up one of the best running backs in the country.
That’s troubling for Florida as Lamical Perine has been struggling to get going this season and Dameon Pierce will have to try and find another big play in this one. But most of Auburn’s defensive line production comes in the run defense, and they’ve been susceptible to the big plays in the passing game.
Kyle Trask has been very efficient in his first few games, but hasn’t had to make a lot of big throws downfield so far this season.
Florida has a lot of playmakers at their disposal, and Trask will need to make just enough throws to get a win in this one.
