1. Win the turnover battle

Like most cases with teams with inexperience at the quarterback position, turning the ball over is a major issue. Auburn currently ranks No. 90 in turnover margin with a minus two, as they’ve turned the ball over seven times on the season. Florida is actually No. 23 in turnover margin, despite turning the ball over nine times in five games and Kyle Trask has two interceptions in about two and a half games.

Florida’s ability to create turnovers has to be the difference. They’re second in the nation in takeaways, with 13 on the season, and have to be able to create plays.

CJ Henderson should be back for the Gators, and his ability at the cornerback position will be vital. He will definitely be the best corner that Nix has ever faced, and will look to force him into mistakes.

Auburn also fumbled the ball four times last week, losing it three times, and Florida will look to capitalize on their mistakes. It may sound cliché, but inexperienced quarterbacks make mistakes, and the defense who capitalizes on them typically wins. That should favor the Gators turnover making machine on defense, as they look to keep their playoff hopes alive on Saturday.
