With plenty still on the table for Notre Dame football, here are five bold predictions for the Irish as they roll into the month of October.

It’s hard to believe that college football has already been going on for over a month now, but here we are. As for the Irish, head coach Brian Kelly’s squad enters the month of October with a record that many expected.

After wins over Louisville and New Mexico, Notre Dame dropped one on the road against Georgia before coming back strong to defeat No. 18 Virginia in South Bend.

Technically speaking, the Irish have been just as impressive as most people figured they would be. Outside of their Week 1 win over the Cardinals, Notre Dame has more than covered the spread against each and every one of their opponents. With a matchup against Bowling Green looming, they are in a prime position to do so once again.

The Irish’s schedule is a bit lighter for the month of October, but anything can happen in the game of college football. With that said, here’s a look at five bold predictions for the Irish as they look to add three more wins over the course of the coming month.
