3. Contain the dual-threat quarterbacks

Kent State has deployed two quarterbacks in each of their first four games. Both Dustin Chum, the starter, and Woody Barrett, the secondary quarterback, have both shown an ability to run and make plays with their legs.

Chum in particular, has been pretty good despite the Golden Flashes mixed success. He was the leading passer and rusher in their game against Auburn, and was very good in their win against Bowling Green, totaling 375 total yards and three passing touchdowns.

Fortunately for the Badgers, they have some of the best linebackers in the country. Zack Baun, Chris Orr and Jack Sanborn make up a great group that has flown around the ball this season. Baun is an effective player against the pass and run, and can cover a lot of ground. Sanborn had 13 tackles against Northwestern last season, and has been a surprise difference maker for the Badgers. Orr, not to be outdone, was the Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week.

This linebackers group will need to track the quarterback, as this offense can become very good when Chum can create plays with his legs and keep the defense guessing.
