Michigan State kept things interesting through the first quarter against Ohio State, holding the Buckeyes to a field goal and remaining within 10-7 in the second quarter. But the Buckeyes eventually started capitalizing on Spartans mistakes and pulled away for a 27-10 halftime lead en route to a 34-10 victory to claim sole possession of the Big Ten East lead.

J.K. Dobbins had a huge game against the Spartans defense, running for more than 100 yards before halftime and finishing with 172 yards and a touchdown on two dozen carries. Justin Fields was efficient through the air, throwing for 206 yards and two scores on 17-of-25 passing. Fields added 61 rushing yards and another score to pace the Buckeyes to the blowout.

Could the Buckeyes vault up into the top three of the AP Top 25 as a result of their big win at the Horseshoe in Week 6? Ohio State already gained a handful of No. 1 votes last week, and more voters could shift their votes from the Tigers to the Buckeyes this week after such a convincing win.
