LSU football is currently undefeated and on pace for the College Football Playoff. Can the Tigers keep it up during the month of October?

The LSU Tigers are 5-0 on the season. Their marquee win came against the ninth-ranked Texas Longhorns in Week 2. This was the breakout game for the new and improved Joe Burrow. He put up an astounding 471 passing yards. Even more jaw-dropping was completing 30 of his 38 total passes. He also added four touchdowns to only one interception on the night.

The month of October will hold much stiffer competition. The Utah State Aggies are the first game of October and likely the easiest contest of the month for LSU. In Week 7, the 10th-ranked Florida Gators come into Death Valley for an 8 p.m. ET showdown on ESPN.

After that, they go on the road to face a sub-par Mississippi State team. Ending the month of October is arguably the toughest test yet in the seventh ranked Auburn Tigers.

This will undoubtedly be the toughest month of the season for LSU. Let’s take a look at the bold predictions for the Tigers during this stretch.
