Ohio State football welcomed Michigan State in a Top 25 battle. Let’s take a look at how Justin Fields handled the dominant Spartans’ defense.

The Michigan State defense came into this game against Ohio State as one of the most dominant units in all of college football. The Spartans were allowing only 1.9 yards per carry to opposing offenses through their first five games of the year.

To start the match, Michigan State held the Buckeyes to only three points. However, as the second quarter started, the Ohio State offense broke loose. By halftime, the Buckeyes pulled away to be ahead by 14 points, 24-10.

The second half was more of the same. The Michigan State offense struggled and the Buckeyes slowly added to their lead. Ohio State won by a comfortable margin, 34-10.
