USC football has had quite the up and down season. The Trojans’ schedule is jammed packed with competition. Here are some predictions for October.

Going into the 2019 season it was suggested that Clay Helton would be fired as head coach and Urban Meyer would be hired. Suggested by who? The media of course. Things looked to play the part as USC football struggled against Fresno State, but a quarterback change led to the Trojans upsetting No. 23 Stanford the following week.

It has been quite an up and down season for USC. An overtime loss to BYU was followed by an upset victory against No. 10 Utah. I mean, how can the program decide if they want to fire Helton if he keeps losing the little ones but winning the big ones? Well, Week 5 helped answer that question.

A huge loss to No. 17 Washington sealed the deal. It has now became easy to fire Clay Helton. The Trojan’s remaining schedule is rough. USC still has to match up with No. 9 Notre Dame, an impeccable Arizona squad, a talented Colorado team, the Oregon Ducks, Herm Edward’s Arizona State, and a surprising Cal defense.

Three of the those games will be played in the month of October. What should we expect?
