Week 7 is shaping up to be one of the most exciting weeks of college football yet. Things are starting to really heat up, so let’s get bold, y’all.

Things are starting to get really exciting as we get into the meat of many team’s schedules, specifically into conference play. You are starting to see who is emerging as the top of the top and who has some exploitable weaknesses.

This slate promises to be one of the more exciting so far this season. With many head-to-head ranked matchups that could mean a lot down the stretch, this is one of the week’s everyone has been waiting for.

Let’s talk bold predictions.

5. Baylor and Texas Tech is an instant classic

Texas Tech’s season was all but over, but then it hosted Oklahoma State and knocked the Cowboys right out of the rankings with a big-time win.

Now the Red Raiders head out on the road and head to take on undefeated Baylor. The Bears are doing everything that they need to do to win week after week, but have yet to face off against a ranked team so we are still questioning how good they really are.

This matchup will come down to a one-possession game. It won’t be a game full of points or anything like that but it’ll be a battle of Texas Tech’s offense against an outstanding Baylor pass rush. Don’t expect big points or big yards, but expect an exciting game that comes down the wire as we start the second half of the season.
