3. Florida’s defense gets exposed

LSU quarterback Joe Burrow has been on fire through the first five games of the season for the Tigers. Throwing for over 1,800 yards and 22 touchdowns, Burrow has found his way after transferring from Ohio State. We should see a heavy dose of Joe Burrow in this game as Florida’s defensive front is pretty strong, leaving the secondary wide open all game long.

The key to the LSU success on the offensive side of the ball is going to be their offensive line. Florida loves to bring pressure and will try and get Burrow outside of the pocket most of the game if not sacking him multiple times. If the offensive line can hold for the Tigers, Burrow is going to have a great day and the Tigers will be able to put up as many points as they have been able to in the past five games.

Call me a nonbeliever, but Florida just has not impressed enough on defense against great teams to be thought of as a great defensive team.

Last week, freshman quarterback Bo Nix came into The Swamp and only threw for about 100 yards. The Gators will be shell-shocked to see a great quarterback on the road and Burrow will have one of his best games of the season in primetime.
