1. The Aggie defense locks in

Texas A&M’s defense didn’t look great against Auburn and then against Arkansas. They are really missing Roney Elam in that secondary who is out for an undisclosed reason for an undisclosed amount of time. That is already a unit that is full of questions from last season. Now, they are trying to put it all together without one of their best players?

My bold prediction here is that the Aggie defense really locks in this month and gets the team two wins out of three chances. They won’t shut down Alabama, though they’ll give it their best shot. After so many learning opportunities through the season to date though, they will finally get it going against the likes of Ole Miss and Mississippi State.

Look for the pass rush to be a big part of the upcoming games as well as the linebackers. Is my faith misplaced and could I be proven wrong in a hurry? Sure, but here is to hoping Jimbo Fisher and Mike Elko turn it around.
