2. Brandon Aiyuk is a serious home-run threat

It would have been easy to make this takeaways all about how Eno Benjamin is back after rushing for over 130 yards against the Cougars on 19 carries, but I think the game that Brandon Aiyuk had was much more notable.

The senior wide out was coming off a quiet game just a couple of weeks ago when he had 31 yards on two receptions, but he broke out against the Cougars with 196 yards and three touchdowns on seven catches. It was a career day for the veteran wide out and he showed that he can be a serious home-run threat and No. 1 receiver for the Sun Devils.

After the big game, which included a couple of long touchdown catches, Aiyuk now has 651 yards and five touchdowns on 31 receptions. He has three 100-yard games on the season and looks like the most sure-handed target on the roster.

If Arizona State needs a big play, it’s Aiyuk that’s there to make it happen. He’s not the biggest guy on the field, but he might just be the most exciting and explosive weapon the passing game has.
