10. Saquon Barkley, Running Back

Saquon Barkley played for Penn State from 2015-17 and he’s the only player from this decade that cracked this list.

Barkley was arguably one of the most dynamic playmakers in Penn State history. He ran for a total of 3,843 yards in only three seasons at Penn State. He averaged between five and six yards per carry in each of his three seasons. Barkley also caught 102 passes for 1,195 yards. He scored a total of 51 touchdowns, with 43 of them coming on the ground.

The All-American back also set several records at Penn State. He currently is first in school history in rushing touchdowns. He also gained the most rushing yards by a freshman and sophomore in school history.

The Bronx-native was drafted second overall in the 2018 NFL Draft by the New York Giants. Barkley not only lived up to the hype, but he exceeded expectations in his rookie season. Barkley was awarded the NFL Rookie of the Year award, and was selected to the Pro Bowl in his first season.
