Arizona State football goes on the road to take on the Utah Utes. Will the 17th ranked Sun Devils play well enough to get the win in Salt Lake?

Arizona State Football takes on the Utah Utes this week in Salt Lake City for a big Pac-12 matchup on Saturday night. The Utes and the Sun Devils both have found themselves inside the top 25 in the national polls and come into this game with one loss apiece.

For the Sun Devils, they are on a hot streak as of late, beating No. 15 California and taking down the air raid offense of Mike Leach and the Washington State Cougars.

Jayden Daniels leads the Sun Devils with eight touchdowns through the air and has put up monster numbers as a freshman with 1,600 yards passing in just six games. Even with the true freshman starring at quarterback for the Sun Devils, they have struggled to score with only 25 points a game put up on average. Relying heavily on their defense in the first half of the season, this will most likely hold true for Saturday’s matchup as well.

We will see a really good Utah Utes team and a team that is ranked second highest in the nation in the Pac-12, sitting just behind the Oregon Ducks. The Utes bring in a stifling defense that is only giving up 13 points a game and has stopped the run with one of the best defensive fronts in the country.

Utah comes in allowing only 52 yards a game on the ground, with Jayden Daniels at the helm and running back Eno Benjamin hurting defenses with their legs, this might be a game the Sun Devils are out of their comfort zone. With the freshman quarterback leading the Sun Devils, they could shock the country and have found lightning in a bottle for Saturday.

Here are three reasons Arizona State will upset the Utes.
