2. Joe Burrow passes for 400 yards

There may not be a bigger surprise in all of college football this season than Joe Burrow. The senior quarterback and Ohio State transfer is smack-dab in the middle of the Heisman race and he leads one of the most prolific offenses in the nation — yes, I’m talking about LSU and no, that’s not a typo.

Burrow has passed for over 2,100 yards and 25 touchdowns with three interceptions this year and he’s going to stay hot against the average secondary of Mississippi State.

The star quarterback already has one 400-yard game this season to go along with two 370-plus yard performances and he’ll add a second 400-yard outing against the Bulldogs. Expect him to complete about 70 percent of his passes for 415 yards and four touchdowns as he leads another elite offensive attack which we will talk about more on the next page.

Burrow will add another 40 yards on the ground and make the Mississippi State defense look like a shell of its former self — LSU has been doing that to just about every defensive unit this year.
