South Carolina football shocked the nation with a win over No. 3 Georgia. What are the keys to take down another top-10 team in the Florida Gators?
South Carolina has never beaten two top ten teams in consecutive weeks in the history of their program. That is a feat that they will try to accomplish when the Florida Gators come into Williams-Brice Stadium this weekend.
Last week saw the 25-point underdog Gamecocks walk into Samford Stadium and dominate the Bulldogs for a shocking victory. The monstrosity that is the Georgia offensive line couldn’t do anything to open up the running lanes.
The Florida Gators are coming off of their first loss of the season. They lost a hard fought battle in a top ten match-up against the LSU Tigers. The game came down to the wire but the Tiger’s offense just proved to be too much for the Gators.
You can bet that Florida is not overlooking South Carolina after their previous two performances. The game is scheduled for noon and there is a 100 percent chance of rain. The last noon game with rain went the way of the Gamecocks against Missouri last year. Maybe that magic will return in this one.
