LSU football took on Mississippi State on Saturday afternoon and Joe Burrow had quite the wardrobe malfunction. Watch as he mooned America.

Poor Joe Burrow.

That’s a phrase you won’t hear much this season as the senior quarterback is playing the best football of his career and has gone from a potential Day 3 pick in the 2020 NFL Draft to a possible first-rounder. It’s hard to feel bad for this kid, especially as his LSU Tigers are ranked No. 2 in the country and are coming off a big win over Florida.

But on Saturday, he was the victim of a pantsing of middle school proportions. No, Mississippi State’s defenders didn’t mean to pull Burrow’s pants down, leading to a mooning of America on live TV, but that’s what happened.

Admittedly, it was hilarious to watch live, especially since Burrow was extremely concerned about keeping his pants up that he went down clenching his belt. He didn’t mind being brought down if it meant preserving the rest of his lower half.

Burrow was the butt of many jokes on Twitter shortly after the mishap and you can bet he’ll take it in stride after the game — he’ll inevitably be asked about it.

Once again, he looked like a Heisman contender against Mississippi State, so he can’t be too mad about the incident but it’s something he likely won’t forget — and the same can be said for anyone who watch the game live. Even the broadcast crew got their laughs in after watching the replay.

Good game, Joe. You really played your butt off.
