Winner: SMU Mustangs (No. 19 to No. 16)

I’d like to start off by saying this. No matter what happens from now on, I am proud of what SMU has put together this season. They moved up from No. 19 to No. 16 after a 45-21 win over Temple. Could they finish this season undefeated and make a New Years Six berth? It’s for sure starting to look that way.

Winner: Cincinnati (No. 21 to No. 18)

The Bearcats move up to No. 18 after a close win over Tulsa. Am I convinced that this team is going to make a move into that New Years Six conversation? Not really, but this team is pretty good for sure. The Bearcats have a chance for sure, but it’ll take some help from those around them.

Winner: Iowa (No. 23 to No. 20)

Iowa moved up three spots after a close win over Purdue. Am I convinced that the Hawkeyes are one of the great teams this season? Absolutely not, they have struggled way too much with teams. They are doing enough to stay ranked and be a winner this week though.

Winner: Baylor (No. 18 to No. 14)

The Bears are one of the more exciting teams this season and sit still undefeated after blowing past the Oklahoma State Cowboys. Next week, they face off against West Virginia and they should win that one too. Upcoming though, they face off against Oklahoma and then Texas back to back, so things could get interesting in the Big 12 down the stretch.
