1. Sam Ehlinger is going to have to win games

There is no doubting the talents of Texas quarterback Sam Ehlinger. He threw for 399 yards and ran for another 91, accounting for four touchdowns on the night.

His game-winning drive was a thing of beauty, as Ehlinger found the right targets on each and every pass to set up the field by Cameron Dicker.

But there is no reason Ehlinger should have needed to be that accurate and put under that much pressure against Kansas. Keaontay Ingram provided a strong hand in the backfield, running for 101 yards as part of a 239-yard rushing performance, but that also just frustrates you if you are a Texas fan.
