While they might not be the USC football of old, you still do not want to face the Trojans inside the Coliseum as Arizona found out.

While they might not be the USC of old, you still do not want to face the Trojans inside the Coliseum.

Arizona found that out the hard way, as USC blitzed its way to a convincing 41-14 victory to remain unbeaten this year at home. The victory also kept the Trojans right at the top of the Pac-12 South Division with Utah after the Utes bested Arizona State.

Kedon Slovis looked as healthy as ever, throwing for over 200 yards and not turning the ball over. Freshman Kenan Christon served notice that he is someone to remember, rushing for almost 90 yards in the fourth quarter alone.

The path set out before the Trojans is a difficult one as they still play both Oregon and have to go to Arizona State, but with the game vs. the Ducks at home and the season-ending contest vs. UCLA at home, there is a very good chance they are in the conference title game at the end of the year.

That is assuming Slovis can stay healthy and this USC team can continue to show up each and every week from here on out.

Here are three takeaways from USC’s 41-14 victory over Arizona.
