Central Florida has had a tough go of it through their first seven games. With extremely high hopes in 2019, the Knights have fallen twice already this year.

At 5-2, the Knights are on the outside looking in and still find themselves outside of college football’s Top 25 in the national polls. To make matters worse, the Knights have to travel into Philadelphia to face off against a very good Temple team that could derail the season even more.

The Knights have been led by freshman Dillon Gabriel who came out of the gates on fire. After slipping up a couple of times and throwing timely interceptions, Gabriel found himself in the midst of some widely criticized conversations. The freshman has since settled down since the loss against Cincinnati and is trying to rectify the season one game at a time.

Temple just lost to the SMU Mustangs last week on the road, but still looked like a team that could compete with anyone. The Owls have had an insanely tough schedule having to play Memphis, SMU and UCF three weeks in a row. The Owls beat Memphis and showed they can compete with UCF, they will use their defense to control the game and tempo and come away with the win at home.
