USC Football: 3 bold predictions vs. Colorado in Week 9
1. Game comes down to final drive
Although I do believe Steven Montez will have two interceptions, I think he’ll have over 300 yards and three touchdown passes while the run game will add another but this game will still come down to the final drive.
USC will have a tough time on the road like it has all season, going 0-3 away from Los Angeles and that’ll play a factor into this game which would otherwise be considered a sure-win.
This isn’t the same USC team from years past that would have sleep-walked through an average, at best, Colorado team with a first-year head coach. But the legend of Kedon Slovis will grow with a big win in Boulder, thanks to a touchdown pass in the final minute to win 38-34.
The Trojans will find themselves down 34-31 with a couple of minutes left and Slovis will engineer a drive that will put them ahead with 30 seconds left and the Buffaloes won’t be able to answer.
While Colorado will technically have the ball for one final drive, it won’t be enough time to truly come back and come away with a win. The Trojans will win in the final minute.
