2. Jayden Daniels continues to be a major bright spot

Is there a young quarterback in college football with a brighter future who no one seems to be talking about than Arizona State’s Jayden Daniels? Probably not.

Daniels might be the most overlooked quarterback in the Pac-12 and he gets lost in the mix on a national level because he doesn’t play for a powerhouse. He continued his stellar freshman season against UCLA on Saturday night, even in a losing effort.

While it took a little too long for the Arizona State offense to get going, Daniels didn’t quit, was unfazed by the hostile environment and steep hill to climb and he played with nothing to lose. The freshman just had fun in the second half and finished the game with 271 passing yards and three touchdowns through the air on 20-of-29 completions along with a team-high 67 rushing yards and another score.

If you’re looking to bet on one young quarterback in the Pac-12 being a future star and potential NFL prospect, it has to be Daniels. He gives Arizona State the best chance to win and he’s going to be a nightmare for opposing defenses for years.
