2. Joshua Kelley is picking up some steam for UCLA

Until the final game of September against Arizona, Joshua Kelley had looked like a shell of his former self. He hadn’t reached the 100-yard mark and it looked like Demetric Felton was the best back on the team but things have changed drastically since then.

In fact, he rushed for 127 yards and a touchdown against Arizona, 176 yards and a touchdown in a victory over Stanford and then broke the 100-yard mark again on Saturday against a normally-stingy Arizona State defense. He officially finished the day with 164 yards and four touchdowns on 34 carries — he came into the day with three rushing scores.

If Kelley continues to play at this high of a level, it’ll be nearly impossible to slow him down and that makes the UCLA offense that much more dangerous, especially with Dorian Thompson-Robinson playing well.

Everyone had been wondering what happened to Kelley through the first month of the season, but after another big game, he’s on pace to reach 1,000 yards and he’s only getting better.
