Winner: Minnesota Golden Gophers (No. 17 to No. 13)

The Golden Gophers sit still undefeated after a big win over Maryland. The Terrapins started the season strong, putting up big numbers, but they haven’t been great recently and that was shown even more so in this beat down by Minnesota. Of course, they aren’t a top 10 team right now despite being undefeated, but could they move into that kind of spot? Well, they have Penn State, Iowa, and Wisconsin in the coming weeks, so if they can get past those guys — this could be a legit team down the stretch. I am not yet convinced of their ability to do that though.

Winner: Oregon Ducks (No. 11 to No. 7)

Oregon has finally moved back into the top 10 after that opening loss to Auburn. It was a close one against Washington State, nearly a loss even, but the Ducks pulled it out. The next four games for the Ducks aren’t ranked matchups, so they could easily finish the season with only that opening week loss, so don’t count the Ducks out of the Playoff picture just yet — crazier things have happened.

Winner: Baylor Bears (No. 14 to No. 12)

Another still undefeated team rises up as the Baylor Bears move to No. 12 after a bye week. Much of this move surely has to do with being the only undefeated team left in the Big 12 — something we all predicted going into November I’m sure. They will face off against the Sooners in the next couple weeks though, as well as the Longhorns, so things could get interesting in the Big 12. Will the Bears shock the world by finishing undefeated, winning the Big 12 and moving into the playoff? We will have to wait and see.
