Scouting Report. 5. Pick Analysis. RB. Stanford. Christian McCaffrey. player. 871

Oh, boy was Christian McCaffrey one of the most electrifying players in the country with his time at Stanford. He rushed for almost 4,000 yards in just three seasons and lit up opposing defensive with his dynamic style of play. The Stanford Cardinal are known for their elite offensive line, but McCaffrey was a force of his own while playing for the Cardinal.

The Cardinal tried to get McCaffrey out in space whenever they could. He was able to eclipse 1,200 yards receiving on top of his incredible rushing stats and was a weapon in all facets of his game. The year McCaffrey was Heisman runner-up, he had 2,019 rushing yards, 645 receiving yards and 13 total touchdowns.

To play McCaffrey in any NCAA video game would be an absolute dream. His ability to catch passes and give you yards on the ground could be a complete game-changer. Thinking of all McCaffrey’s versatile skills on the field makes you want to line him up in the wild cat and run the offense himself.
