1. Baylor covers, and then some

Are you as surprised to see Baylor in this position as I am? The Bears are undefeated, ranked No. 12 in the nation and could be making a serious push not only for a Big 12 title but a playoff berth. Two years ago, this team had one win and now they’re the class of the conference.

Matt Rhule has done a heck of a job and this team will continue rolling on Thursday night while Neal Brown and the Mountaineers keep looking for answers.

Don’t get me wrong, I think Brown will get the Mountaineers back to the top of the Big 12, but much like Rhule’s Bears, it will take a couple of years. West Virginia is in the same spot Baylor was a couple of seasons ago, and the Bears will take advantage.

Charlie Brewer and John Lovett will both have big games while the defense shows up to play and home-field advantage will be too much for the Mountaineers to overcome and Baylor improves to 8-0 with a 24-point win over West Virginia.
