2. Florida Atlantic at Western Kentucky

This is a huge game in the East division of Conference USA.

Right now, Western Kentucky is 4-1 in conference as they sit in first place and look to hold on to that spot. FAU is 3-1 right behind WKU and a win here could potentially move them up to first depending how Marshall does this weekend. Regardless, this is a huge game and will have a big impact deciding the winner of the East.

This game is basically a pick ’em with WKU being a one-point favorite. WKU is led by a solid defense who has kept it in every C-USA game. The Hilltoppers are just coming off a close loss to Marshall and is a must-win for them. If Marshall wins out in conference play and so does WKU, the Thundering Herd hold the tie-breaker.

Florida Atlantic has seen quarterback Chris Robison take a big step this year. He has thrown 15 touchdown passes to only four interceptions. Last year, he had 12 touchdown passes and 12 interceptions. The Owls will need for Robison to continue to take care of the football and make a few big plays against this stout Hilltoppers’ defense.
