Oklahoma State football ended a disappointing October on a high note, beating Iowa State on the road. What do we expect from the Cowboys in November?

After a disappointing slump from late September into mid-October in which Oklahoma State football lost three of four games to open Big 12 play, the Cowboys gave their fans reason for optimism. A road victory against a ranked team will do that.

OSU made plays defensively, took care of the ball, and stayed poised late in the game to hold on to a 34-27 win against No. 23-ranked Iowa State. The loss knocked the Cyclones out of the Top 25. OSU moved to 5-3 (2-3 Big 12) with the victory.

What, then, should OSU fans expect to see from the team in November? The regular season will conclude at the end of month with Bedlam.

Before facing the Sooners in Week 14, OSU will host TCU and Kansas before traveling to West Virginia in Week 13. The Horned Frogs are coming off an elating 37-27 win against Texas, the Jayhawks just defeated Texas Tech on some last-minute heroics, and the Mountaineers, though depleted, are still capable of putting up points in a hurry.

OU, of course, will be eager to finish the regular season with a Bedlam victory against the Cowboys to further its chances of a Big 12 title and possible CFP berth. The Cowboys are eager to snap a four-game losing streak to the Sooners.
