No. 8 Georgia vs. No. 6 Florida (3:30 p.m. ET – CBS)

The World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party returns to Jacksonville for an annual showdown that has transpired almost every year since 1933 (except 1994 and 1995, when the Gator Bowl was torn down and renovated for the NFL’s Jacksonville Jaguars). The winner will take over sole possession of the lead in the SEC East. Defense is going to be the name of this game, as two of the top units in the country try to slow down their opponent. Can Jake Fromm and the Bulldogs pull off the victory, or can Kyle Trask and the Gators steal the division away in 2019?

PREDICTION: Florida pulls off a 28-24 upset in a defensive struggle where the Gators are six-point underdogs against their SEC East rivals to claim inside track in the division race.

Miami at Florida State (3:30 p.m. ET – ABC)

That the Miami-Florida State rivalry is currently being played solely for bragging rights is a wild concept after so many years where these teams punched at a national level. Since joining the ACC, Miami has collapsed into one of the losers of realignment. Florida State hasn’t fared much better in recent years, with the last years of Jimbo Fisher’s time in Tallahassee cratering the team and setting up Willie Taggart with a difficult rebuilding project. But even when two rivals are down, their contests still mark all the vitriol that was there when the whole country was watching.

PREDICTION: Florida State has a chance to win it at the end of the game, but another Wide Right — this time by senior kicker Ricky Aguayo — will allow Miami to escape with a 21-19 victory in Tallahassee.

No. 9 Utah at Washington (4 p.m. ET – FOX)

Utah might just have the best defense in the country this season, if that sort of things interests you. The Utes give up only 231 yards and 10.3 points per game, putting them among the top handful of teams at stifling opponents. And if offense is more your thing, Tyler Huntley is the most efficient quarterback in the Pac-12 and buoyed by the hard-charging play Zack Moss brings out of the backfield. Chris Petersen is one of the best coaches in the game, but he will meet his match on Saturday afternoon on the west coast.

PREDICTION: This could be something of an upset special, with Utah just a one-point favorite to open betting and pushed up to a three-point favorite, but the Utes will prevail 38-17 in Seattle to improve to 8-1.
