2. Both offensive lines need work

The Miami Hurricanes sacked Alex Hornibrook nine times in this game. The Hurricanes brought pressure from everywhere, and the Seminoles could not read where it was coming from. The Seminoles had no holes to run through and no time to throw.

What’s ironic is Miami was supposed to have the offensive line that struggles in this game with Florida State’s. However, the Seminoles only had two sacks in this game. The Seminoles, however, did do a good job against DeeJay Dallas and the Miami run game.

Both the Hurricanes and the Seminoles faced very good defensive fronts. Miami does a great job of disguising their pressure, and getting home with their front.

The Seminoles can get home with their front or blitz when they need to. Neither the Hurricanes nor the Seminoles were able to do was run the football. The Seminoles have had their issues with their offensive line for a while and the Hurricanes’ line is young.
