3. Tyler Huntley continues to dominate at quarterback for Utah

Tyler Huntley entered Week 10 as the most efficient quarterback in the Pac-12. He is guaranteed to remain in that perch after putting up another stellar performance on the road against Washington in the key interdivisional victory.

Huntley finished with completions on 19 of his 24 attempts over the course of the afternoon in Washington. The Utes passer compiled 284 yards and a touchdown through the air to pace the visitors to the big win that kept alive their national title dreams… or even just a trip to the Rose Bowl that was always out of reach when Kyle Whittingham’s crew was still in the Mountain West.

The 192.3 pass efficiency rating that Huntley posted against Washington was actually above his season average. Coming into the weekend, Huntley ranked sixth in the nation with a 182.0 pass efficiency rating, meaning he performed more than 10 points higher than his already stellar average over the course of a charmed season in Salt Lake City.

After beating Oregon’s interstate rival, the Utes find themselves fans of the Ducks in late night Week 10 action. If the Ducks defeat USC at the Coliseum, Utah gains sole control over the Pac-12 South and sets up a likely clash with Oregon for not just the league crown but also a bigger prize.
