Penn State football is a perfect 8-0 heading into the final month of the regular season? Here are some predictions for the Nittany Lions down the stretch.

When it came to predicting the regular season record for Penn State this season, most prognosticators pegged the Nittany Lions at 8-4, some had them at 9-3 and very few predicted them winning 10 games. As the calendar turned to the final month, the Nittany Lions found themselves with an unblemished record.

It certainly has not been easy for Penn State. They started the season with three straight non conference wins, but the win against Pitt was close and could have easily gone the Panthers way. After a bye week, the Lions opened conference play demolishing Maryland on the road followed by a homecoming victory over Purdue.

The last three weeks were projected to be the key stretch for the Lions. They survived a defensive slug fest at Iowa. The Lions then jumped out to a quick 21-0 lead over Michigan in front of a White Out crowd before having to fend off a Wolverine comeback. Finally Penn State defeated Michigan State in East Lansing for the first time since the 2009 season.

Penn State is sitting in the drivers seat heading into the final month of the regular season. They control their own destiny as it comes to winning the Big Ten. The Lions are also in the mix for a spot in the College Football Playoff. Here are three predictions for Penn State in the month of November.
